Love the concept of this place, clean lines, bright colours, simple menu. Unfortunately Kokomo is not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had… but then what do I expect, I’m in Bordeaux – a region known for its rich gluttonous foods, not its Mexican heritage!
Their menu is simple, choices from tacos burritos and sharing plates; adding a drink (including their delicious refreshing juices) for only a few euros more. We shared 3 of the soft shell tacos between 3 of us to mix-&-match. This was good for a light dinner but I’d recommend a burrito for a proper feed.
I’m not putting my Mexican hopes and dreams in this place, I stick to their sister restaurant and eat a burger! That is unless Sangria makes it back on the menu…
